Drug Arrests Made In Relation To Death Of Park Hill Student
On Friday October 4, 2013 at 2:21 hours, Platte County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Emergency Medical Personnel responded to a residence in the 4900 Block of NW Fisk Drive, Platte County, Missouri on a report of an unresponsive juvenile male. The juvenile had taken an imitation controlled substance, known as “acid” that resulted in him being transported to an area hospital. The juvenile was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Krista E. Meeks age 17, and Jamell D. Montgomery age 18 were arrested and charged by the Platte County Prosecutor’s Office with distribution of an imitation controlled substance. Meeks and Montgomery are currently in the Platte County Detention Center with bond set at $25,000 cash only for each person.
